Reflection on Lesson 13

Plickers


On 18 November 2019, Plickers app are presented by Erni, Noriqwana and me Fatin Fasihah. Plickers lets you poll your class for free, without the need for student devices. Plickers is an assessment tool made by a teacher who was looking for a quick and simple way to check student understanding. This assessment tool allows teachers to collect on-the-spot formative assessment data without the need to have students use devices or paper and pencil. 

I find this app is easy to use and handle. This app is really useful when there is no internet connection in class. Teachers provided each student with answers card printed on the web of Plickers. 

This is my friend's picture with the answer card. So when students answer the question they just have to put up they answer card and the teacher will scan the answer card from the teacher's phone. Then the data will be automatically entered into your data. After that, teachers can get student evaluations through a report button.


This is an example of my Plickers account. If you sign in for the first time your account will look like this. Then you can create a new question set. Create a question with multiple choice answers or true or false answers

In this software, we also can monitor students' reports, the percentage of student's answer and many more.







Reflection on Lesson 12

Kahoot


Kahoot! is a free game-based learning platform that makes it fun to learn any subject, in any language, on any device for all ages. This lesson are presented by Salina, Aimi Francis, and Huda Shafiqah. Kahoot is a multiple-choice quizzes that can be accessed via a web browser or the Kahoot app. Other than that, this app also can be used to review student's knowledge, for formative assessment, or as a break from classroom activities. It also includes trivia quizzes.

In this lesson, I learned how to make an online quiz. At the end of this lesson, my friends conducted a game on Kahoot apps. That was fun and interesting to me. I definitely use this app to make quiz to lighten my class. 

Reflection on Lesson 11

Moviemaker


Moviemaker lesson are presented by Siti Nurhidayah, Nur Nasuha, and Zulfadhli. This app are free online apps, where we can edit a video and personalize it by easily rotate, trim, crops, split or speed the videos. This lesson are the best and I enjoyed learning with my friend. Visual is one of the sources to share a piece of knowledge, so since I know how to edit video, I will try to make a video to share something useful to others.

Reflection on Lesson 10

Quizizz

After lesson about Chemsketch, I learned about the Quizziz app. The teachers are Nur Ain, Nur Irfanisya and Rabia'tul Adawiyah. Quizizz is a free, self-paced learning tool that helps every student celebrate their achievements. Teachers incorporate Quizizz into instruction, review, and assessment to support students.



The picture above is my Quizizz account. I love quiz, this app are the best app to make a quiz. Quizizz allows me to conduct student-paced formative assessments in a fun and engaging way for students of all ages. 




Reflection on Lesson 9

Chemsketch

On 11 November 2019, Natasha Amani, Arni Natirah and Masnajwa presented Chemsketch. Chemsketch is a software that helps chemistry teachers to create chemicals equation, lewis structure, molecules structure in 3D or 4D, symbols in chemistry in easier ways. For first time users for this software, I feel it difficult but, my friend helps me understand it. I'm really thankful to my friends.



As you can see in the video, this software has a lot of tools button. First I got confused, but Masnajwa are willing to guide me. Now I get more understanding about this Chemskecth software, so I will use  it to make my chemistry lesson easier.

Reflection on Lesson 8

Mentimeter

Mentimeter is an app for generating a quiz for a large group of students. This lesson are presented by Audrey, Sarathy and Nurul Shahira. Mentimeter enables the user to turn meetings, workshops, training, conferences or classes into interactive experiences that are fun for both users and participants.

The presenter for this lesson, are helpful and fun. I learn how to create a quiz question and play it on my laptop for my friend to answer. The benefits of this application are students can have a voice through voting, especially students who may be not comfortable speaking in front of others. Also, it can promote global awareness for students were exposed to other points of view and can increase student engagement. I definitely use this application on my next presentation.

Reflection on Lesson 7

Youtube 

 Nowadays, everyone knows about Youtube right, Youtube is a video sharing platform. On 04 November 2019, Arina Raihanah, Siti Noradila, and Noor Aniza shared with the whole classes about how to operate youtube properly.

They told about how video sharing can be bad and good to the viewer.  So as a teacher, we should leave a positive impression on our students. Teachers should use the Youtube platform as a medium for sharing knowledge or find knowledge. Also, teachers can advise students to use Youtube as one of the sources to find the knowledge online.

Siti Noradila shared something useful like there is Youtube Kids for more family-friendly videos. I personally love to watch videos on YouTube channels. Not only for watching dramas but when I don't understand something I will search video on how to solve it like Chemistry problems.

Reflections on Lesson 6

Padlet


On 04 November 2019, Nurul Amisha, Nur Aqilah, and Nor Azmina present about Padlet app. What is Padlet? Padlet is an application to create an online bulletin board that you can use to display information for any topic.

I find that this app are interesting and fun to use. I love to make notes. So Padlet app really suitable for me. My friend teaches me how to make a new online board. Just type in your notes and put it everywhere on the blank canvas, and it will be saved. Other than that, Nor Azmina told that we also can put video or picture into our canvas.

Also, by applying this application to classes, it really helps teachers and students to interact with each other online, like doing a discussion about any topic, and students put their idea into theirs teacher canvas, send an assignment online or give online assessments.

By learning about this app, it really makes me want to explore the online knowledge.



Reflection on Lesson 5

Microsoft Excel


 After Microsoft PowerPoint lesson, a lesson about Microsoft Excel is a must. Microsoft Excel is where we manage our data in organizing tables. It also features calculation, graphing tools, pivot tables, and a macro programming language called Visual Basic for Applications. So for this lesson, my organize friends Anis Amirah, Farah Nadhirah, and Kathie were the instructor.

They taught me how to insert data in an organized way and how calculated those data by using a special tab on the keyboard. As a teacher, it is compulsory to know how to use this kind of software because it will help us in class, to organize a student's marks and many more.

Reflection on Lesson 4

Microsoft PowerPoint

             
Microsoft PowerPoint software is a must-have in everyone's laptop. So, on 21 October 2019, my beautiful friends Noor Nadiah, Rosnani, and Fatin Munirah were my class teachers. They teach us skills and techniques in PowerPoint, on how to make a fun and creative presentation. Before this, I only know the basics, but now I'm way better after this lesson. To be a creative teacher is simple and also important in this challenging world. The software like Microsoft PowerPoint is one's of the ways to attract student attention in classes. The learning process now has to be interesting and fun.

The presentation of this lesson are fun and interesting. Thanks, my beautiful friends.


Reflection on Lesson 3

Wix.com

 On 14 October 2019, after the Blogspot lesson, I learn another interesting application called Wix.com where I learned about website creating. Wix.com is an app where we can create a website for business. This application can help business owners to manage their websites to communicate with their customers or readers. 

My Wix.com teachers are Muhammad Arief, Mohamad Akbar, and Nor Atirah. As we have an assignment about promoting a product online, this app is a place to create eye-catching flyers. They teach how to create a business website. This knowledge is very useful to me and my friend. 

The explanation about this app is enjoyable and fun. There is an abundance of the template to choose from. 
                                                                              

Reflection on Lesson 2

Blogspot


14 October 2019, this week where I learn about Blogspot
application. From this lesson, i started to blog my class lesson.  My Blogspot teachers for this lesson are Wan Nurul, Nurain Nabilah and Muhammad Ridzwan. Before this, I have heard about Blogspot but I never try it. But now I learned it so, I started to enjoy writing and sharing my view with other people.

Wan Nurul has shared about how writing a blog can be a medium to spread information to other people. I agree with that, because right now information not only can be read in the book, it can also reach out through reading on the internet like in blogs, social media and other applications for sharing. In Blogspot peoples can shared anything about their life, business, food or anything they want to share through writing.

Nurain Nabilah teaches how to create the Blogspot template. There is much interesting design of the blog themes. In this class, I find it difficult to learn but, my friends are really helpful and willing to help me to understand this lesson. Now I have mastered the technique to use the blogger, I start writing on Blogspot about my life in Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI).

I would like to use this knowledge to shared something to my student. I will also encourage my student to used this medium to share they opinion or experience they learned in life. This can help student to sharpen their skill in writing.





Reflection on lesson 1

Googles Docs

On 7 October 2019, for the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) class i learned about Googles Docs apps. This lessons are presented by Fitri, Akmal and Irwan. They were really helpful and so fun with the whole class.

What is Googles Docs? Googles Docs is a free apps, it is a web-based software offered by Google Drive Service. This apps is compatible with Microsoft Office file formats. This apps, allows users to create and edit files online while collaborating with other user in real-time.

In this lesson, i learned how to use this Googles Docs.
The picture above are my Googles Docs account where i learned to edit blank document. My friend Akmal teach me how to insert a picture into my document. I love tigers, so i choose a white tiger picture to explain it more. 

Other than that, they also teach my friend and i to used Googles Sheets and Google Form.By learning this information i can used this apps to create a learning material online, also i can create a question through Googles Forms. I really love this apps to used it like I love to use Microsoft Office.

So after learning this Apps from Fitri, Akmal and Irwan, i have create a survey form. This is my link of my survey form. Feels free to answer my survey form. 



My Teaching Philosophy

Saya percaya setiap murid mempunyai kelebihan dan keunikan dalam diri masing-masing. Sebagai seorang pendidik, adalah menjadi tanggungjawab saya untuk mengenalpasti kelebihan dan potensi seseorang murid supaya bakat dan potensi mereka dapat diperkembangkan lagi ke tahap yang lebih tinggi. Selain itu, hak samarata dalam menyerlahkan potensi dalam diri setiap murid haruslah di berikan keutamaan dalam setiap sekolah.

Selain itu, dorongan dari segi motivasi juga dapat membantu pelajar yang mempunyai masalah dalam pembelajaran. Bagi saya sokongan daripada seorang guru amat berharga pada seseorang murid. Seorang guru yang sangat memahami murid dapat melahirkan murid yang terbaik.
