INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY IN CHEMISTRY

Information and Communication Technology in Chemistry (SKI 3010) is the course I take this semester. This course taught me about infusing ICT in learning and teaching. I personally love this course caused me to learn many about software and applications that can help me in my teaching in the future.
Every week I learn about a new application or software. As learning this ICT, of course, there is assignment. These assignments really help me get more understanding in this application or software uses.
Those assignments are I have to prepare an educational e-portfolio to be published on the web, promoting a product on any blog software. Other than that, my friends and I assign to present a new software in the class, also we have to develop lesson plan that has element ICT in it and developed a teaching material using Microsoft PowerPoint.

For the lesson plan. We developed a lesson plan that contains video, crossword, and pictures to help students understanding the lesson. Those are the videos that we add to our lesson plan.

Reflection on lesson 14

On 10 December 2019, my friends Fatin Hamimi, Nurul Syakilla and Nur Fatin Dayana presented about Prezi software. Prezi software is a web-based tool for creating presentations (called prezis for short). It's similar to other presentation software like Microsoft PowerPoint, but it offers some unique features that make it a good alternative. Prezi offered more eye-catching and engaging slide presentation. This software really interesting and fun to deal with. 
We can find abundance of beautiful templates for our slides like for business, education, and many more are offered through this software. 

to create a presentation in Prezi, you have to log in to your account. you can either use the web-based application or download in the desktop version which enables you to work offline. Instead of using slides, you can use a large canvas where you add text and insert images and videos. you can start from an empty blank canvas or you can use one of the many templates available.

Then I also learn a software where we can record our laptop screen. This is like the famous Youtuber use when they making reacting video. This software is really exciting to try on.
